The Vulture Gang Mafia is more like a conglomerate of some real Hood factors and music artists. They got their business right and “The keyz 2 the Trapp. Joey Drama, Slang, and Rocky Jones let The outsiders know exactly how it goes down in Trenton, New Jersey. Vulture Gang stays fully immersed in the designer drug culture, spitting Eerie Tales of Street politics and intoxication.It’s pretty easy to spot fraudulent rappers on the mic, but this squad is as authentic as it comes.
Under The Wing: Volume 1, was released on Halloween and sets the tone for the listeners to understand the concept behind these songs. The tracks have those low 808 thumps and crispy hi-hats that Sizzle in the back of your brain. Meanwhile the bass lines are sure to Rattle the trunk, and the mix quality is on point. There doesn’t appear to be any sweet stuff involved in this project or necessarily any songs for the ladies. Nothing but straight hardcore trap heat.
The opposition gets stunted on when it comes to “Shoot Then Slide”, a bouncy track describing the High Life and lavish lifestyle of a real boss calling out his haters. The beats sound consistent all the way through, and possibly could have been done by the same producer. That’s what makes the project cohesive and stick together.
“Break My Heart” is a track about overcoming, and making the best out of your situation. Whether it be recovering from a loss or flexing on your ex girl, you got to put one foot in front of the other and keep moving.
