The editors at Music Boombox had a chance to speak with the one and only Kemistry about her new track ‘Flipping It & Dipping It’, and what she has planned for the new year.
MBB: This joint is really provacative! We know you gonna do video right? How do you plan on promoting it?
KEMISTRY: Thanks a million Heck yeah ! I plan on doing the video within the next week and you know the video gonna be spicy I’m tryna make everybody mouf hot to the point they gotta drink some H2O lol…. Promotion wise soon as the video drop its going on Worldstar for the world to see etc.
MBB: Who are some of your musical influences, and why?
KEMISTRY: Some of my favorite artist are male wise The Game, Tupac, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Jeezy AKA the snowman, etc. I got a whole list of male rappers I’m digging I just can’t name them all the female rappers I dig is: Eve, Trina, Lil Kim, Chyna Whyte, Foxy Brown, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Lachat, Diamond from Crime Mob etc. I have a whole list for female rappers I dig, also I basically just like real rap ‘ish’, something that’s gonna make me shake life or shake my A** to when I’m dancing in the club.
MBB: How did you get the name Kemistry, and who would you most like to work with?
KEMISTRY: That’s a long story I’ll share it with y’all at a later time lol…
MBB: How is the response so far of ‘Flipping It & Dipping It, and what’s your next move?
KEMISTRY: Folks really feeling my song cause the numbers don’t lie but they really gonna feel the video better soon as everyone heard it they was like that’s fire
