MBB: Explain the concept behind “Droptop”
Officialvybe: “Droptop” is a song I made talking about turning up in a droptop having fun living a new lifestyle.
MBB: How did you get into music?
Officialvybe: I started off as a fan of other rappers like Ludacris and Jay Z, Eminem, people that I grew with was always rapping and they got me to start rapping.
MBB: Who did the production on Droptop, and how did you link up?
Officialvybe: I found a engineer online and he mix and master the song. I wanted to show the song to major record labels because of the good feedback I got from a Roc Nation A&R.
MBB: How long have you been rapping, and what can we expect by this time next year?
Officialvybe: I didn’t start taking it serious Until the age of 16 years old and been rapping for over ten years.
MBB: Which industry artists would you most like to work with and why?
Officialvybe: I would like to work with anybody who is just as ambitious as I am, it can be an indie or major artist. Music is music.
