I can’t help but to think who Michael Barber is aiming at in these lyrics, but maybe it has a deeper meaning than Trumps proposed wall.
Basically, the message is no matter what, the people will not be stopped. Go and build your wall, it don’t really matter, it could be so tall, we gonna bring a ladder.
It seems Michael Barber is also his own producer, and he has something on his hands with this protest song. Concepts like this can make for a great track, especially with clever delivery and wordplay.
The beat and swing of the flow almost has a country style folk sound to it. A nice blend if done right, I think Michael Barber might have the formula.
