One of my favorite characteristics of rap music besides the voice is, the FLOW, and 4-4 Water is flowing like liquid on this new project. The “No Sleep Campaign” is officially on the streets, and it is FULL of bangers.
Mr. Water starts off with an honest track and somewhat of a proclamation with “How U Feel”. He basically is saying you need to respect and accept him for what he represents because he is holding nothing back.
4-4 Water has a real captivating and slightly raspy voice, that really commands the track. His style of street hop has a nice mixture of different sounds. His record label is 10 Entertainment and he spits these rhymes from Anderson, South Carolina.
Other stand-out tracks include “Black Devil”, “Come Up” and “Last Ride”, in which he conveys a more spiritual side of himself over an ambient soundscape with a thumping 808. 4-4 water’s album “No Sleep Campaign” has already accumulated over 60k streams on spotify and counting!
It looks like Water had a strong marketing plan in place for the release of this album with ideas in place and a target audience. In the current industry, this is an absolute must if an artists wants to be successful.
