This is a review on a new artist coming out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her name is “Kimmy B” and her track is called, “Catching Feelings”. This is her first major digital release with AMG/Sony. Produced by Joel “JJ” Joseph (AMG). Recorded, mixed, and mastered by engineer and producer, Jeff McCulloch.
The song has a good tone and smooth melody. Has a bit of a commercial feel, but in a good way. Her video is based in a high rise with her girls dancing and chillin’. It does have some auto tune but it works.
I see this song gaining popularity as it is a catchy tune. Kimmy B even offers up a hint of her rapping abilities. All in all, “Catching Feelings” is a song sure to translate the younger genre.
