We caught up with Joliet recording artist Gramz this week. He gave us time for a few quick questions about what he’s cooking up in the lab. Here’s what he had to say:
MBB: Explain how you came up with your name Gramz?
Gramz: I didn’t come up with it my big Cousin Cmac use to just always call me gramz I was out doing stuff I ain’t need to be doing trying to make money in that’s where it came from but y’all get the picture.
MBB: How would you describe your musical sound?
Gramz: Way different then anybody or thing around me soulful I just know I don’t sound like no one I can guarantee good music.
MBB: what is the largest crowd you have ever performed for?
Gramz: Like a 1,000 people it felt good too.
MBB: How long have you been rapping and how did you link up with the producer Flip Cobang?
Gramz: That’s my blood brother we been in it together for a min now connection right in the family.
MBB: Which other artists would you most like to work with and why?
Gramz: I just wanna focus on me right now I see wussup when I bust threw the game.
