Rapper Bateen has just released his new video “Buckaroo Bonzai”, a tribute song to his favorite Cult classic movie from the 80’s “BUCKAROO BANZAI”.
The video portrays Bateen in a deserted landscape with one interesting piece of architecture. The old building used for the duration has that cult feel with its dilapidated looks and highly vandalized walls. Mr. Bateen rhymes on a nice beat produced by JDIZZLE, and is the only person featured in the video, keeping the focus on himself.
The rapper formerly known as Young Haiti has consistently rode in his own lane doing his original style of music. It’s clear he is into setting trends not following them.
His strong work ethic is apparent because his name has been popping up on several blogs and news outlets. The grind is starting to show. Watch the music video for this track below and share with your friends.
“Lean back, lean back, I’m done preppin’ this beef.
Time to throw in the pot and let my whole circle eat.”
– Bateen
Every so often a Bay Area artist comes along that has broken off from the pack/herd to make his own wave.. and BATEEN is that artist. The “Buckaroo Bonzai” video comes complete with vibrant colors and stunning drone footage in the skies of the unknown location. Visuals were filmed and edited by Tyler Casey Productions.
