MBB: This has great instrumentation, about how long did it take to produce the track?
HICHAM: It took me about 3 days to compose and produce the first version of this track, some days later the mix was done.
MBB: How many years have you been composing music for licensing?
HICHAM: I am composing music for licensing since 2000, and since 2012 my music can be downloaded from my online royalty free music library and can be used in audiovisual projects.
MBB: Has your music been featured in any projects in the US?
HICHAM: My royalty free music library is well known in France, Belgium, Canada..and french speaking countries. The english version of my website is online since 1 year, so i begin to have some contacts from USA, and i hope i will have some interesting collaboration with US productions..
MBB: Do you play any live instruments, if so which ones?
HICHAM: Piano is my favorite instrument, it’s my everyday instrument, i use it for composition and for improvisation. My second instrument is called Guembri, it’s a kind of acoustic bass used in an African trance music called GNAWA music.
MBB: What can we expect this year from you in music?
HICHAM: I hope i will finish producing a vocal project
