PRINCE DEAD AT 57
Legendary singer Prince has passed away at his Minnesota home, according to multiple reports.. He was experiencing some sort of illness in the past few days and had to be hospitalized.
Prince is highly regarded as one of the greatest musical acts of all time and is put in the same category as Michael Jackson by most fans. His career has spanned over 3 decades and he is known for playing every instrument on all his albums. “Purple Rain”, “Party like 1999” and “When Doves Cry” are among his countless #1 hits.
Emergency dispatchers received a call that there was a “male down, not breathing.” The singer had to make an emergency landing in Illinois over the weekend for his illness but still managed to perform on April 16th. He succomed to his flu symptoms early thursday morning.
Prince, who’s real name is Prince Rogers Nelson has performed at the Super Bowl, sold over 100 million records, won 7 Grammy’s and an academy award.
