If you don’t have lawsuits then you’re not doing big enough business.
That’s what financial experts say, and it must reign true because now a music promoter in India is taking Master P to court for a quarter million dollars. The founder of No Limit Records is being sued for a deposit of $255,000, which was allegedly given to him to guarantee Snoop Dogg would be at the show to perform. The rapper failed to appear and now the promoter in Dubai wants his money back.
According to NYE reports, Master P received the lump sum deposit in November of 2015. The $255,000 was for a show in the United Arab Emirates city on New Year’s Eve. It was also in the contract that if rap legend Snoop Dogg was unavailable to perform, the money would be returned and apparently Snoop was a whole world away on stage at the Venetian in las Vegas.
The promoter is claiming that Mr. Miller lied about Snoop’s availability and is now suing for the deposit back, plus damages.
