Sacramento rap staple Young Bop ( who lately goes by the moniker Bishop) sits down with the archivest for a rare interview. Bishop touches on how he got started with T-Nutty in South Sacramento and how he has evolved as an artist. His first solo “Handsome Ghetto” reportedly sold 90,000 copies, and details on how that project came together are explained in this interview also.
The latest album from the brainiac “Torment” was successful in the horrorcore scene, but he notes that it wasn’t as popular with the females. Bishop is working on a new “Torment” album that he says will definitely have tracks for the ladies, and it is due to be released on his current label “Brainsick”, which is headed by fast rapper Twisted Insane.
