Rapper & entrepreneur Berner has opened a chain of clothing stores named “Cookies”, including a branch in his hometown of San Francisco.
Cookies had a grand opening on the weekend of May 15, and is located at 1423 Haight Street.
Along with their highly successful clothing line, The novelty store has items like duffle bags, lunch bags, specialized rolling trays and smell proof backpacks. Cookies is heavily affiliated with marijuana culture and Berner is at the forefront of a new social lifestyle.
Cookies started as another independent clothing venture and has blown into a full scale franchise. Berner, who was born Gilbert Milam Jr., is also a touring and recording artist signed to Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang. He is known for promoting strains of marijuana called ‘Girl Scout Cookies’ and ‘Sunset Sherbet’.
