Tracy Curry, better known as “The D.O.C.”, learned that a pawn shop in Plano, Tx was selling five of his platinum albums plaques, complete with his autograph. Curry decided to send a video message to the owner Mr. Taylor Packwood, explaining that he was a rapper for the group “N.W.A.” Packwood was informed he’d left the albums with a friend, whom he eventually lost touch with, so the memorabilia was not authorized to be pawned.
In addition to the 5 platinum albums, Curry also says five gold albums are still missing. (see video below)
After sitting in the shop a number of years, a customer finally reached out to curry to tell him about the albums. Owner Mr. Packwood says
“If they’re really his, we have no issue giving them back. They mean more to his family than to us.”
